John Carew Blackjack Review

This is a 6-deck Blackjack variant that accepts wagers from €1 and €500. The game uses standard rules with the main objective being getting to 21 or closest to it without exceeding it. Up to three players can join the table and enjoy a highly engaging gaming experience thanks to high-quality 3D graphics. The animated dealer rendered to look like former Norwegian international, Rosenborg, Valencia, Lyon and Aston Villa footballer John Carew hosts the game.

The game offers an Even Money bet allowing the player to quit the round when they have a Blackjack and the dealer has an Ace. If it turns out that the dealer gets a Blackjack, the player wins 2:1 on this bet. Insurance is also available and the dealer stands on a soft 17. Players are allowed to check the history of previous rounds and adjust settings including sound effects, dealer’s voice and ambient sound. The main game has a 99.54% RTP while an Insurance RTP is 92.60%.

Targeting Nordic Players

At the moment of writing this article, Yggdrasil’s latest product is exclusive to Nordic operator ComeOn. According to the developer’s press release, it is built on their proprietary technology platform REDUX™ and combines the best aspects of both live and RNG casino using motion-capture technology to model the movements of the dealer.

Johan John, Head of Table Games at Yggdrasil, said that John Carew Blackjack was an exciting new addition to their table games portfolio.

“The big striker had an excellent reputation for winning and scoring goals, and now he can deal winning hands to players,” said John.

This is the fourth Blackjack game in Yggdrasil’s portfolio that includes Sonya Blackjack, Lucky Blackjack and Dr Fortuno Blackjack, offering the industry’s first crossed-vertical shared jackpot.
