INTRODUCTION
Over the years, we have had the pleasure of trying several online blackjack games. They were all special in their own way. Some offered interesting side bets. Others offered slightly different rules to keep things interesting. iSoftBet could have gone down these routes for their own blackjack title. Instead, they committed to delivering a highly polished product using the same rules we are all familiar with.
The RTP for iSoftBet’s Blackjack is 99.40%, provided you stick to basic blackjack strategy while you play. You can only play one hand at a time. The game is played with eight decks, where the dealer stands on all seventeens. Players can only split once. The dealer does not check for blackjack if their face up card value is ten.
HOW TO PLAY BLACKJACK
This release is a solo experience. You play against a computer. Each player has his or her own instance of iSoftBet’s Blackjack, meaning there is no multiplayer component. Because of that, there are also no timers for placing bets. You can take as much time as you want deciding how to proceed through the round. One of the advantages of playing online blackjack compared to its live dealer counterpart!
After pressing Deal, the round continues. The computer will draw four cards total. Two cards are dealt to the player, and two are dealt for the dealer. The first card the dealer draws is visible. The second is placed in a face down position. From there, players can decide to hit, stand, split or double. Split is only available if the player’s two cards are a pair. Doubling draws one more card and ends your turn.
Once you finish playing your hand, the dealer will show his second card. If needed, the computer will also draw more cards until it reaches seventeen or more. If either side goes over twenty-one, they bust and lose the round. Alternatively, the side closest to a score of twenty-one will win the round. If your first two cards are worth exactly twenty-one, which is considered a blackjack win. It pays better than standard wins do.
PAYOUTS
If you win a round of blackjack, you get a 1:1 cash prize. There are only two exceptions to this rule. The first is if your first two cards have a score of 21. That is a blackjack win, and it pays 3:2 instead.
The second option is the Insurance bet. You will be offered to play this wager if the dealer is suspected to have blackjack. You win the Insurance bet if the computer has exactly twenty-one with its first two cards. Winning the insurance bet pays 2:1, but comes with the loss of your main bet.

BLACKJACK (ISOFTBET): CASINOBLOKE’S VERDICT
iSoftBet’s Blackjack takes a game we know and love and polishes it to near-perfection. However, the software provider could improve some minor things. Adding a side bet or two would be nice. We would also like to see the option to play multiple hands simultaneously. However, these do not detract from the fantastic animations or the in-game prompts keeping you from making mistakes. If you like online blackjack, this one is definitely worth your time!
