The Mirror is used as a Scatter that triggers the Free Games feature. I, Zombie is the Wild that substitutes for all regular symbols. There are three warriors on the cover of the game, so it probably means that they will also appear as high-value symbols. There is the elderly Sensei, a Blue Female Warrior with knives and the Red Sorceress, who seems to be the leader of the group. Of course, we expect a Zombie or two to appear on the reels as well.

When it comes to the rules of the game, we can tell you that spinners don’t need to be professional zombie hunters in order to play the game, because it will all be about the spooky fun. The 2018 release features five reels, three rows and offers 25 adjustable paylines, which pay left to right, starting from the leftmost reel. Land at least three matching symbols on an active payline to win a payout. High-value icons even pay for two of a kind. Bet as low as $0.25 and as high as $125 per spin.

PAYOUTS

The biggest possible payout gamers can expect in the Realtime Gaming title is set at 50,000 times the bet per line, which is the max payout for other RTG products. We reckon that the Free Games feature will provide the best payouts, especially if you trigger the feature with four or five Scatters, so as to double and triple all wins.

We really hope that our prediction will not be the accurate one, for Realtime Gaming’s sake, but we feel that I, Zombie will not offer anything new or special to gamers. A common theme, common surroundings and only one additional feature do not predict success. An extra bonus game could have done the trick, but time will tell whether we were right.

The slot looks and sounds very good and it may be exciting from time to time, but that is not enough. Taking everything under consideration, the 2018 release will have a hard time standing out from the crowd this fall.
