The popular online casino and bingo site PlayOJO has announced the launch of its new safer gambling tool.
The SkillOnNet-powered site joined forces with Neccton to launch the new Safe Mate tool, which should help players keep track of their gambling activities and monitor their behaviour online.
Helping Players Gamble More Safely
Safe Mate enables customers to have a detailed insight into their gambling habits. They’ll be able to see how much money they deposited and wagered and just precisely how much time they spent at PlayOJO over the last six months.
Safe Mate was created with the help of psychologists and behavioural scientists and can spot changes in a player’s behaviour. By tracking the user data, the tool is able to recognise patterns that increase the risk of problem gambling. Each player who visits PlayOJO will get a health score, while any change in gambling behaviour will trigger a warning.
The tool comes with a helpful option that allows customers to compare the time they spent gambling with what they think they spent. If Safe Mate recognises risk patterns, it will inform the player and offer solutions to prevent problem gambling from happening.
Promoting Safe Play
Safe Mate is the latest tool aimed at offering safer gambling to PlayOJO’s customers. Other measures include around-the-clock support, affordability checks, account self-assessments, and time limits. PlayOJO continues to work on improving the safety of its customers by introducing new tools and measures.
Commenting on the launch of the new tool, Peter Bennet from PlayOJO said they were delighted to join forces with Neccton to help their customers feel safer while enjoying their favourite games. Bennet pointed out it would continue to find new innovative ways to promote safe play further.
Safe Mate is now available to PlayOJO customers in the UK, Sweden, and Spain.
