INTRODUCTION
Going with a vibrant purpleicious theme, Microgaming updated its All Aces Poker game and made it one of the classiest options on the menu. It looked fine with the classic interface, but Casino Bloke finds the revamped design to be much more appealing. As the name of the game indicates, a lot of the action revolves around Aces. Strong cards in moors card games, Aces are made crucial for the big prizes in All Aces Poker.
The game is played with a standard deck of cards, which means 52 cards and no Jokers. There are no other Wild cards in the game. In this aspect, it is similar to Microgaming’s Jacks or Better. However, the paytable reveals the importance of drawing Aces since the biggest payouts go-to combinations like 4 Aces and Royal Flush.
HOW TO PLAY ALL ACES POKER
It is a simple procedure. Once you launch the game, you will be met with a paytable in the top part of the screen and the card positions on the lower part. Click on the chip icon to select the number of chips you wish to bet and their value. Next, click on the green button to initiate a deal.
Five cards will appear and by clicking on them you will be able to hold them in your hand. The ones that you haven’t clicked on will be redrawn once you click the green button again. With this, you finalise your hand and if it is a winning 5-poker hand, you will be paid a reward according to the paytable multipliers.
The poker hands valued in this game are, in descending order:
- Royal Flush
- 4 Aces
- Four of a Kind (2-4)
- Straight Flush
- Four of a Kind (5-K)
- Full House
- Flush
- Straight
- Three of a Kind
- Two Pair
- Jacks or Better
PAYOUTS

ALL ACES POKER (MICROGAMING): CASINOBLOKE’S VERDICT
All Aces Poker is a straightforward video poker game suitable for the widest range of players. It’s not gimmicky and has no additional cards or symbols, just regular cards from a standard deck. Even so, it manages to increase the suspense by valuing Aces above other cards. The Double feature is a nice addition and the high RTP makes it one of the best video poker alternatives out there.
