INTRODUCTION

RTG’s Caribbean Hold’em Poker is an online casino table that gives Texas Hold’em a pirate-themed visual upgrade! In terms of gameplay, it plays similarly to the parent game it is inspired by, with a few minor differences. The game is played against a computer dealer instead of other players. The animations look good and go by very quickly. This, in turn, allows each round to flow fast.

One of the major downsides to this variant is that we do not know the RTP. It is not mentioned in the help menu, nor could we find the information anywhere else. The game has a simple but effective side bet: the progressive jackpot! You play this game with a single deck, with the deck automatically reshuffling at the end of each round.

HOW TO PLAY CARIBBEAN HOLD’EM POKER

Before any action starts, punters have to place their wagers. This is done by clicking on the chips seated on the table. Clicking a chip automatically puts it on the Ante bet. To remove a chip from the wager, simply click on the stack of coins. You are free to adjust the wagers to your liking until you press the Deal button. At that point, the stake becomes permanent.

When you finish with bets, the computer will draw two cards for itself and the player. It will also draw three community cards, which both sides can use to form a winning combination. At this point, you have to decide if you want to keep playing or if you want to stop. In order to continue, you have to place a Call bet, worth 2x your Ante bet. Meanwhile, folding does not cost you anything extra, but it means you lose the round and the money you invested until now.

If the dealer has a pair of fours, he qualifies for the next round. Failing to qualify will result in a win for the punter. If both sides qualify, the outcome is decided by who has the stronger hand. How much you are paid is determined by the paytable and the card combination you have. A royal flush will be worth a lot more than a two pair in terms of payout.

EXTRA FEATURES

Few side bets can compete with a wager that can award a progressive jackpot. This is an optional bet, meaning you do not have to play it if you do not want to. However, it cannot be played independently. You must also make an Ante stake if you want to play the progressive jackpot. It pays based on what five-card poker hand your first two cards and the first three community cards produce. They usually grant fixed cash prizes, with the exception of straight and royal flush. They pay 10% and 100% of the progressive jackpot, respectively.

PAYOUTS

Charming as huge sums of money always are, they cannot be won in the main game. Here, the best prize comes for defeating the computer with a royal flush. If you are lucky, this RNG-powered table will reward you with a 100:1 win for a royal flush. The main bet’s win is determined after all five community cards are dealt, meaning it has a greater chance of winning.

what we like

CARIBBEAN HOLD’EM POKER (RTG): CASINOBLOKE’S VERDICT

We had a blast playing this game, even with the few flaws it has here and there. If you liked poker, but could never settle for the relatively tame payouts, then RTG’s version will be ideal for your tastes! It is a relatively small extra cost for a chance to score a huge win. The only notable complaint we have is the fact the developer did not publish the house edge. For this reason, we advise playing Caribbean Hold’em Poker slowly and carefully.
