Evolution has reached an agreement to acquire the DigiWheel product. They say its special HD spinning gaming wheel will be a great addition to their library.
The deal is to be an all-cash transaction with more than €1m paid up front. Furthermore, Evolution will provide additional compensation that depends on DigiWheel’s net income for the third year after the acquisition. They are expected to obtain the business near the end of 2021 under certain closing conditions.
Making Evolution’s Gaming Portfolio Even Stronger
The Evolution representatives are sure this agreement is to empower their portfolio even further. DigiWheel offers a genuinely unique 360-degree, high-definition gaming wheel able to function as a live online game. The wheel has an HD screen able to run any prize wheel or money wheel game, counting the entire Evolution’s wheel game show library.
Its cutting-edge digital technology is bound to be a great asset to Evolution’s pool of game shows and Live casino games. It already contains highly entertaining wheel-based titles like Crazy Time, Dream Catcher, and many others.
DigiWheel will maintain its brand as a part of the Evolution Group, providing even more versatility to their offering. They are to join a group of other successful brands like Ezugi, NetEnt, Red Tiger and Big Time Gaming. However, they will still develop their unique content while offering it to a wider range of players.
The Agreement that Brings Further Success and Wider Audience
The officials of both companies could not hide their delight concerning this deal. CEO of DigiWheel, John Purcell, stated this agreement gave them all a great deal of pleasure. He noted that his company had gone a long way and worked for nine years to create a one-of-a-kind product. It brings a unique and unforgettable digital gaming experience which is the ultimate goal of the company. He also expressed firm conviction this agreement would expose their unique technology and content to larger audiences. DigiWheel’s developments will now be available to many more players and operators.
Martin Carlesund, CEO of Evolution Group, added that they were always keeping an eye out for any exciting technology and innovations. They were thoroughly impressed by DigiWheel’s developments, so closing this deal brought him great pleasure. He stated the company was always devoted to bringing the most thrilling online gaming experiences to their players. Given they have already been successful with wheel games, this is bound to be another triumph.
