INTRODUCTION

Evolution Gaming’s Crazy Time is a Live casino game that further iterates on the fantastic lucky wheel format. If you have played Dream Catcher or Monopoly Live, you will know what to expect here. Evolution Gaming is back with even more exciting bonuses and gorgeous visuals, ready to win audiences from across the globe.

This game is played on a custom wheel made by TCS John Huxley. This is the same company responsible for creating their other wheels. All the action is streamed live from the software provider’s studio in Riga, ensuring the top-notch video quality.

Part of what helps Crazy Time live up to its name is the special features the developers added to it. Each one is distinct from another, both visually and in gameplay. These bonuses are key to achieving the largest wins this game has to offer.

HOW TO PLAY CRAZY TIME

You play this Evolution Gaming title on a wheel with fifty-four pockets. The wheel is mostly made up of number positions. You have four numbers you can bet on that make up the majority of wheel segments. You also get nine segments for bonus rounds. When the wheel spins, a screen above it can highlight either the numbers or one of the special features. There is a chance one of them will be matched with a multiplier.

You have fifteen seconds to place all the bets you want. We suggest betting on all four available special features, since they are the real money makers of this game. For the numbers, we advise picking one or two and sticking to them. Lower value numbers win more frequently, while higher value numbers award bigger prizes.

EXTRA FEATURES

With each spin, there is a chance a multiplier is applied to a number or special feature. For this to happen, the symbol on the left side of the screen has to match with a multiplier on the right.

The game also comes with four special features. To activate them, they have to be drawn on the wheel. With bonuses occupying nine of the fifty-four pockets, the wheel should trigger a special feature once every six spins. However, that is not always the case.

Cash Hunt: A wall of 108 random multipliers is displayed. Those multiplers are then hidden and reshuffled. Aim at a portion of the wall to shoot one of the symbols. It will reveal the multiplier hidden beneath, which is then paid to you as a prize.

Pachinko: The dealer picks up a ball, and drops it through the Pachinko box. Where the dealer drops the ball is chosen randomly. There are sixteen multipliers at the bottom. The one which the ball lands will be drawn to be awarded as your prize. If the ball lands on Double, all multipliers are doubled and the ball is dropped again.

Coin Flip: A red and blue-sided coin is flipped. The flip is done using a machine to ensure randomness. Both the red and blue side have their multiplier randomly assigned.

Crazy Time: Enter beyond the big red door and play a giant wheel with 64 segments and three flappers! Pick one of the flappers, and watch the wheel spin to reveal what multiplier you get to take home with you. If the wheel lands on double and triple, all multipliers will be increased accordingly, and another spin occurs.

PAYOUTS

Like we mentioned previously, playing the special features is mandatory in Crazy Time. The game can award some incredible rewards when all the stars align. For this reason, the developers capped the maximum win of these bonuses to $500,000. The numbers all have different payouts, odds and probability, so make sure to check the numbers below.

Number 1 (21 segments) pays 1 to 1 (RTP: 96.08%).

Number 2 (13 segments) pays 2 to 1 (RTP: 95.95%).

Number 5 (7 segments) pays 5 to 1 (RTP: 95.78%).

Number 10 (4 segments) pays 10 to 1 (RTP: 95.73%).

Evolution Gaming also shows RTP for each of the bonus rounds, with Coin Flip (95.70%) leading the way, followed by Cash Hunt (95.27%), Crazy Time (94.41%) and Pachinko (94.33%).

CRAZY TIME (EVOLUTION GAMING): CASINOBLOKE’S VERDICT

If you played Evolution Gaming’s earlier lucky wheel games, then you know what to expect from this release. Personally, we prefer more controlled experiences like blackjack. Despite that, Crazy Time kept us engaged for hours until hunger forced us to take a break! We do not know if you will love it, but we wholeheartedly recommend trying it to find out.
