HOW TO PLAY FAN TAN LIVE
Each round begins with a betting round. The goal of Fan Tan Live is to predict the number of beads that will remain in its final line. As such, casino members can play several wagers. These include Fan, Nim, Kwok, Sheh-sam-hong, Big/Small and Odd/Even. To bet on a certain wager, select a coin value, and place it on the bet you want to play. The separated beads are split into groups of four. They are lined up until the final line of beads remains.
At this point, players can see how many beads remain: one, two, three or four. If your bet correctly predicted the right number of beads, you win the round. At this point, the round ends, and the dealer pushes all the beads back into the glass dome.

Kwok bets also cover two numbers. However, this wager treats both numbers as winning numbers. A Kwok 2-3 bet will grant a reward if the number of remaining beads equals two or three. Because it is easier to win, Kwok bets pay 0.95:1.
Sheh-sam-hong, or Ssh for short, allows you to play three numbers. All three numbers are considered winning numbers, making it the safest bet to play. However, this is reflected in the reward for this bet. When won, Ssh bets pay 0.316667:1.
Finally, players have access to two traditional side bets. Big/Small allows you to bet whether the final number of beads will be small (one or two), or big (three or four). Meanwhile, Odd/Even checks if the last line of beads is an odd or even number. Odd wins if you draw one or three beads. Even wins if you have two or four beads. Both side bets cover two numbers, and pay 0.95:1 because of that.
