Evolution Gaming, one of the leading providers of Live casino solutions, has announced that they have secured a National Manufacturer licence to go live in South Africa. Besides a full suite of their products, Evolution is also licensed to offer games by its subsidiary Ezugi. All their products will be available across desktop and mobile devices as well as in retail betting shops.
Market with Long-Term Potential
On the last day of January, Evolution Gaming announced that they had secured a licence from the Western Cape Gambling and Racing Board (WCGRB). Thanks to it, the Live casino solutions provider will be able to deliver its products to all licensed gaming operators in South Africa. Group CEO at Evolution Martin Carlesund said that they looked forward to opening up their world-leading live dealer games portfolio to operators and players in South Africa.
“Our world-leading live dealer solutions, and new live event betting solutions too, will be available not only on desktop, tablet and smartphone but also in retail betting shops,” said Carlesund.
He pointed out that they were entering an exciting new vertical in the African region thanks to the great experience already gained by their Ezugi subsidiary. Ezugi is a provider of live dealer games Evolution has recently acquired, and their products will also be available to South African operators.
“There is long-term potential in the regulated South African market to deliver Evolution-powered live dealer games and fixed-odds solutions to operators and to bring players the most entertaining live games and live Game Show games available in the world, alongside exciting new betting products,” CEO and founder of Ezugi Kfir Kugler said.
Evolution to Go Live in Switzerland
Another regulated market Evolution Gaming will enter this year is Switzerland. According to the press release published by Evolution, they have been selected by Groupe Partouche to offer online Live casino services to the regulated market in this European country. Partouche is one of the leading brick-and-mortar casino groups in Europe with more than 40 gambling venues in France, Belgium and Switzerland. Their Live casino powered by Evolution is scheduled for launch during the first half of 2020.
“Our concept blends an original combination of games, shows, international catering and events aimed at creating a VIP experience and providing a high level of customer service,” said Alexander Sosnovski, iGaming CEO at Casino du Lac Meyrin in Geneva, Switzerland, explaining why Evolution was a strategic partner for them.
