Online slot games developer Habanero is set to expand its presence in Spain and Latin America after inking a new partnership agreement with Spanish side Emara Play.
Under the provisions of this deal, content developed by Habanero will be initially offered to customers in Latin America through its partner’s aggregation platform.
Spanish Expansion to Follow Soon
At the moment, Habanero is waiting to get approval from the Spanish gambling watchdog DGOJ. Once that process is completed, the company will launch its portfolio in that country as well. The offering will include not only slots but also table games and promotional tools.
Habanero is looking to partner with Spanish-licensed operators, with a series of agreements planned in the coming period.
The company is focused on making entertaining and engaging gaming content for online and land-based casinos. Habanero offers an extensive lineup of content, which includes over 100 slots, but also video poker and table games. It also provides its partners a set of promotional tools designed to boost engagement and retention. Customers can also enjoy a trademarked jackpot system.
The news about this partnership comes shortly after the company received a license from the Malta Gaming Authority. That way, Habanero will be able to expand its presence across a number of new markets and offer its products to operators doing business in those markets.
Further Bolstering Its Presence in LatAm
Over the last couple of years, the renowned gaming developer has been expanding across Latin America. In 2020, it inked a similar deal with Spanish gambling giant Codere, which allowed it to enter the Colombian online gambling market.
A couple of months later, it joined forces with US online gambling company Rush Street Interactive, further bolstering its presence in Colombia.
Last month, Habanero moved into the Paraguayan online gambling market, following a supply agreement with Slots del Sol, one of the leading local operators.
