Hacksaw Gaming, an online casino software provider most notable for its presence in the slots market, recently acquired a new operating license in the US. As of November 2023, the company will be able to offer its products to NJ-based players.
New Markets for Hacksaw
Supplier Hacksaw Gaming has expanded its presence in North America by obtaining a provisional license in New Jersey. The company aims to launch its operations by the end of Q4. This move marks Hacksaw Gaming’s second entry into the US market within a year, following its initial full supplier license in West Virginia. The newly acquired license in New Jersey is part of Hacksaw Gaming’s ongoing expansion efforts in the US.
The company is strategically collaborating with Light & Wonder to distribute its games across various platforms, aligning with its expansion strategy. In addition to its US expansions, Hacksaw Gaming recently partnered with High Flyer Casino to launch its games on the casino’s online platform in Ontario. This collaboration aims to enhance the gaming experience for players at High Flyer Casino and strengthen Hacksaw Gaming’s presence in NA markets.
The Future of US Online Casinos
New developments in the US market have launched a veritable gold rush of operators and suppliers rushing to get in on the action. This will be beneficial in the long run for casino fans in the US, who have long suffered a sort of isolation due to poor regulations.
New Jersey’s gaming industry experienced growth in November 2023. Both revenues and cash flow have been steadily increasing for years, and the trend still continues. For the first time in history, online slots in NJ surpassed physical machines by 2.3% in revenue for operators.
Marcus Cordes, CEO of Hacksaw Gaming, said “Hacksaw is thrilled about our rapid expansion and the acknowledgement our content is receiving. We are confident about our prospects in the US market.”
