The reels are set on the very entrance of the Temple of Lion and are surrounded by a beautiful landscape, including blossomed cherry trees. Watch out for two stone Lions that guard the entrance of the temple. Symbols that appear on the reels include the Azure Dragon, Black Tortoise, Vermilion Bird and White Tiger, which are quite important symbols of Chinese folklore.

The Lion is the Wild that substitutes for all symbols except the Scatter, which triggers the Free Spins feature. Standard playing cards are used for low-paying symbols.

The 2018 release features five reels, three rows and offers 243 ways to win. Land at least three matching symbols on adjacent reels, starting from the far left reel, and you will begin landing payouts. Lion’s Fortune is a very good video slot. It boasts crisp graphics and a fitting soundtrack. The features incorporated are very fun and rewarding. We especially liked cascading reels combined with the Wild feature, where regular symbols become Wilds for more wins. On the other hand, it is not that easy to form plenty of successive cascading wins, which can be a bit frustrating. The Free Spins feature is also very rewarding, but it sucks that gamers cannot retrigger the feature.
