A lucky casino player has won a jackpot worth SEK 33,748,248 or £3.07m while playing Yggdrasil Gaming progressive jackpot slot Joker Millions.
The customer of the Swedish mobile site Vera&John was playing at a bet of approximately £0.70 when the jackpot hit at on October 26.
This is the biggest payout delivered by the progressive slot Joker Millions after the £4.5m jackpot won in July this year, which is the current pool record, and a similar jackpot amount hit in December, 2016.
“The player deserves to treat themselves to an early Christmas present. We’re sure the imminent festive period will be that bit more special for them this year,” said Fredrik Elmqvist, CEO at Yggdrasil Gaming, and added that they loved to hear of players hitting the big wins on their slot machines.
Victor Olinger, Head of gaming at Vera&John, said that Joker Millions was one of many Yggdrasil titles that their players loved, partly due to the huge jackpots on offer.
“We want to give our players the best experience possible, whether it be through offering the best slots titles or giving away the biggest jackpots, and it’s always good to see them paid out for their loyalty,” added Olinger.
Joker Millions belongs to the shared progressive jackpot network along with other popular titles from the Malta-based software developer including Empire Fortune and Holmes & The Stolen Stones.
The slot is a typical fruit machine featuring 5 reels and 25 fixed paylines. The goal of the game is to land joker symbols on all the reels and trigger the jackpot spins with mystery wins awarded. If you manage to cover the grid with joker symbols entirely, you will win the progressive prize.
