INTRODUCTION
Side bets are an essential part of Live casino blackjack. If you want to play optimally, you will want to avoid these side bets. However, sometimes you just want to have fun and try to chase after a big win. If you like playing blackjack side bets, then Playtech’s All Bets Blackjack Live is a perfect match. This release offers more side bets than any other title, with six distinct wagers you can play.
Assuming you follow blackjack strategy to the letter, you can look forward to an RTP of 99.46%. Casino members play one blackjack hand at a time. The game is played with eight pre-shuffled decks. The dealer stands on all 17s. Available side bets you can play include 21+3, Player Pair, Dealer Pair Top 3, Buster Blackjack and Lucky Lucky.
HOW TO PLAY ALL BETS BLACKJACK LIVE
Each round of All Bets Blackjack Live starts with betting time. During this time, casino members can place the main wager and all six side bets. Keep in mind that you can only play the side bets after placing a main bet first. All bets have to be placed before the betting timer runs out. When it runs out, all wagers are accepted and the dealer starts drawing cards.
Four cards are dealt in total. Two are given to the player and the host keeps the other two cards. You can see both your cards, but only the first card the dealer has. The second sits in a face down position and cannot be seen. Once all cards are drawn, players are given the option to hit, stand, split or double. Pick what you want to do for the remainder of the round, then lean back and watch what happens.
Once the timer runs out again, the dealer will change the cards according to your wishes. Then, they will reveal their second card. At that point, both hands are compared. If needed, the host will draw more cards for their hand. The hand closest to twenty-one is the winner of the round. If your hand wins by twenty-one with the first two cards, you receive a blackjack win. Blackjack wins pay better than standard wins.
EXTRA FEATURES
The simplest side bet in this game are the player pair and dealer pair wagers. The first two cards drawn for the player or dealer have to form a pair. You receive different prizes depending on the quality of the pair. The RTP for these bonuses is 95.90%.
- Mixed pairs – 6:1
- Coloured pairs – 12:1
- Perfect pairs – 25:1
The Top 3 side bet tries to form a valid three-card poker hand. It does this by combining the player’s cards and the dealer’s first card. If they form a poker hand, you receive a cash prize. This side bet has an RTP of 91%.
- Three of a kind – 90:1
- Straight Flush – 180:1
- Suited Three of a kind – 270:1
21+3 is a very similar side bet. It also forms a poker hand using the player’s two cards and the dealer’s first card. However, 21+3 is easier to win due to including more poker combinations. Because of that, the payouts are lower all around. However, the RTP is much better, sitting at 96.30%.
- Flush – 5:1
- Straight – 10:1
- Three of a kind – 30:1
- Straight Flush – 40:1
- Suited Three of a kind – 100:1
The last side bet to combine the first three dealt cards is Lucky Lucky. However, it does not care to form valid poker hands. Lucky Lucky chases different kinds of combinations. The RTP for this side bet is 96.1%.
- Any 19 or 20 – 2:1.
- 21 – 3:1
- Suited 21 – 15:1
- 678 combo – 25:1
- Suited 678 – 100:1
- 777 – 50:1
- Suited 777 – 200:1.
Finally, the Buster side bet pays if the dealer busts. The more cards the dealer busts with, the better the payout. The RTP for this side bet is 93.87%.
- 3 or 4 cards – 2:1
- 5 cards – 4:1
- 6 cards – 18:1
- 7 cards – 50:1
- 8 or more cards – 250:1
- 7 cards + player blackjack – 800:1
- 8 or more cards + player blackjack – 2000:1
PAYOUTS
If you choose to stick to standard blackjack bets, you should not expect spectacular payouts. Winning a main bet in blackjack results in a 1:1 reward. However, if you score a blackjack win, you receive a 3:2 payout instead.
You can also choose to play the insurance bet, which pays 2:1 when won. To play insurance, the dealer needs to be in a position to land a blackjack win. If the host has blackjack, you win the insurance bet, but lose the main bet.
what we like
- Six blackjack side bets
- You can win up to 2000:1
- Super high RTP if you stick to blackjack strategy
what we don’t like
- You cannot split an already split hand
