Thunderkick, a renowned independent software provider, recently entered into a new partnership with the Skywind Group. This will further expand the company’s reach, most notably in the Romanian market.
New Partners
Every casino lives and dies by the strength and quality of its game offer. That’s why partnering with the right software providers is paramount and why new partnerships like these are also important for us players.
The Skywind Group is an online casino company based in Romania, which has been successfully operating since 2012. It’s behind several casino brands, most notably Luck.com and Princess Casino. Romania remains an important hub for many companies from the igaming space, which makes it fertile grounds for expansion. Moreover, Skywind also closely collaborates with multiple casino software providers and even boasts its own portfolio of over 200 games made in-house.
Thunderkick’s Growing Reach
For their part, Thunderkick is a fairly well-known brand to anyone who spends enough time playing online slots. They’re not the biggest, but they’ve also managed to resist corporate consolidation for many years now, thus maintaining full independence. That’s fairly interesting for an industry which is already being divvied up between several huge industry leaders such as Evolution.
Fredrik Ekholm, Head of Sales at Thunderkick, commented: “Romania is a key market for us at Thunderkick, so we’re thrilled to be partnering with Skywind Group to bring our portfolio of dynamic, exciting games to a much wider player base.”
Thunderkick announced this fresh collaboration following its previous partnerships with Alea and Rushbet in 2023. With the aim of furthering its growth and establishing a stronger foothold in the Romanian market, Thunderkick is optimistic that this new partnership will contribute to its upward trajectory.
